"Meeting Hadi" Video

We have finally put together a video of the first time we met Hadi. It really captures how we felt about her and our first moments together. The song is speaking about the way God feels about us.
You can go to the link below or it is also located under"Meeting Hadi" on the side bar.

Recent pic of Hadi

Thought I would also add a recent pic of Hadi. This was taken by Scott's cousin Megan and her husband Scott. She is so cute!!

Pilgrimage to Heaven Video

We have added a video under the side bar "Pilgrimage to Heaven" (powered by YouTube) Scott put this together to show some of the gifts we were able to purchase because of YOU! Thank you for your prayer support and monetary gifts. These children were truly blessed. Some of the items purchased were:
Crocs, Bottles, Blankets, clothes, diapers, bumbo, fruit, food items, school supplies, laptop for care center, etc. We will continue "Pilgrimage to Heaven" so we can take over even more items next time. Once our bags are filled, we will give the rest of the gifts to the school being built in Mekele, Ethiopia for desks or computers. Another need is for an air conditioner in one of the southern care centers.
If you want to give, we have set up a few ways to do this:
1. Paypal.com - go to SEND MONEY tab give to jillsietur@aol.com
2. Cash or check, email above aol address for mailing address
3. Lynn Haven United Methodist Church - mylhumc.net - has set up an account for us. Specify for Jill and Scott Bradley. You will receive a tax receipt giving through them.

As always, we covet your prayers for these precious children and also our journey to adopt Hadi. We will keep you posted on any new developments!

We will post another one soon of us meeting Hadi for the first time. Stayed tuned!
Enjoy the video.

God is GOOD!

Hi everyone! Yes, you are looking at this picture right. This is NOT me but yes, it is Hadi! Why am I showing this? Well, this is Megan, Scott's cousin. This picture was taken last week in Ethiopia. God has woven and amazing story through our extended family.

Earlier this year, Scott's cousin Megan and her husband Scott (and their 2 bio kids) began the journey of adoption. They are in Ethiopia right now meeting their two kiddos. All of our kids will be 2nd cousins. They have not only been in one orphanage together but now two. Their lives have been woven together for about 5 months now. God has been in every detail and frankly, I have been in awe through all of it!

I love that God saw fit to have Hadi loved on while we wait half way across the world. Hadi will spend much time with Megan and Scott and their African cousins for many decades to come. What a rich blessing. He is seeing us through every part of this journey...this pilgrimage... and adding so many unexpected blessings in between. Thank you God!

Please also pray for Megan and Scott as they continue their journey in Africa. I'm sure their will be more pics of Hadi when they return in a week. (And of course their kiddos...but I am partial to the ones of Hadi!)

Blessings,

Hadi Genet Bradley

Here is a pic of our little girl. She is as precious as can be. We can't wait to hold her and love on her. These next few months will be filled with "firsts" for her. I hope the Embassy hurries up so we can enjoy them too!

MOWA Letter Received!

Hi everyone! Yeah...we got our MOWA letter. What that means is we passed court and now our paperwork will move over to Embassy to start the final process to bring Hadi home. They said best case scenario would be two months from now to go get her. Sooo...we will wait and see.

(I have been wanting to write about the meaning of Hadi's name but was hoping to deliver good news when I did.) Hadi's original name given by her birth parents is Hadgi (pronounce Had - gee). We are removing the 'g' and calling her Hadi. Her middle name will be Genet (silent T) which is her birth mom's name. The meaning of her name is "Pilgrimage to Heaven". HADI GENET BRADLEY

We will keep in touch. I started her room today which has been fun. Pink has entered the Bradley household. Yeah!

Please be in prayer for Scott's cousin's traveling over right now to meet their two kiddos. They are in the same orphanage as Hadi, so I know she will get lots of loves this week.

Blessings,
